Church Services

Sunday congregations are multi-denominational in character, with people from Anglican, other Protestant and Roman Catholic backgrounds. In recent years, the congregations have become multi-cultural, with people from Ireland, Britain, Europe, U.S.A., India, Sri Lanka and Africa among others represented. The church seeks to be open, inclusive and welcoming to all who come to worship.
On Sundays, a small group of people gather for Holy Communion at 8.30 a.m.
The 10.00 a.m. service is a lively, fresh and informal Service of the Word format, lead by a music/praise group with the aid of visual presentations. A crèche, Sunday Club and Junior Youth Fellowship are provided at this service. Over a hundred adults and anything up to 80 children and young people regularly attend the 10.00 a.m. service.
Refreshments (Real Coffee!, Tea, Juice and Biscuits) are served in the adjoining Parish Centre between the two main morning services. This is to allow continued fellowship and to ensure the people at both the 10.00 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. services have an opportunity to meet.
In both the 10.00 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. services we use printed sheets rather than books. This allows regulars and visitors alike to feel part of the service, even if they are not familiar with the Church of Ireland Liturgy.
