MISSIO DEI
This Summer, dozens of people from Kill have been involved in Missio Dei (God’s Mission). People have literally gone into all the world: sent to prisons and orphanages in Russia and Romania, lent to schools and child-care centres in Uganda, South Africa and Dún Laoghaire, building homes and communities in Latin America, leading and taking part in camps from Cork to Donegal and beyond. The term “mission” is from the Latin word meaning “sent”. Jesus sends His followers out into the world with His Gospel Word to make new followers, who in turn go out into the world to make other followers in perpetuity. As they return from being sent, we look forward to hearing at firsthand what God has done in lives and communities in Ireland and worldwide.
