Giving

Giving is an important part of any church community. In Kill O the Grange people give in many ways, through prayer support, through involvement in the clubs and activities of the church, through encouragement and friendship with one another and in financially contributing to the work of the Parish.

Chapter 8 of 2 Corinthians encourages each of us to give in response to a growing understanding of our stewardship of God’s resources and not simply as a response to a request or a particular need. Like many churches Kill O the Grange does have many financial needs, but we thank God for His provision to us over the years and we continue to seek God’s will in the stewardship of all our resources both financial and non financial.

Members of the Church are encouraged to support and participate in all aspects of Parish life. As a community we seek to support the financial requirements of our church together. The Parish has a number of schemes in place to assist people in making financial contributions to the work of the church to allow the ministry to operate and grow.

A standing order scheme allows members to contribute regularly to the churches finances. Pre numbered envelopes are also available for those who prefer to contribute through the Sunday service collections. As a registered charity the Parish is also eligible to reclaim tax on certain contributions each year.
