Dear Friends,

 

February is considered as the first month of Spring in Ireland.  Given the winter we have had, Spring will be welcome as the earth renews itself.  In the middle of the month Lent begins, a season when the Church is renewed, culminating in the recreation of the Resurrection celebrated on Easter Day.

 

Can I encourage you in a journey of renewal this Lent?  There are many ways in which you can be part of this renewal.  Sunday worship is key; at the three morning services we will be explaining what it is to be “On the move with God”.  Also during Lent, the mid week Holy Communion Service recommences at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesdays.  It is an oasis for renewal. Our Lent Book, enabling us to reflect on the Scriptures each day, will also be available during the month.

 

The Chinese say, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”. Take that step in the renewal of your lives this Lent.
